When on the N246-1 road turn right to Santo António das Areias. Keep following the main road. In Ponte Velha, at the junction, turn right toward Santo António das Areias. Continue straight for 1.9 km until you reach a large green gate on your right. You have reached your destination! From the road you can probably already see some of the horses, and a sign attached to the fence (to the right of the gate) that reads Caballos Marvão.
From Castelo de Vide / Portalegre / Other:
Follow the prompts to Portagem / Marvão. At the roundabout in Portagem, take the second exit towards Marvão, and then take the first turn right. Continue on a street with parking on the right, and then simply follow the main road for 5.3 km. You have reached your destination! From the road you can probably already see some of the horses, and a sign attached to the fence (to the right of the gate) that reads Caballos Marvão.
